Announcing: Photo Tour in the French Pyrenees

I know it’s been a while since my last letter, but I am coming back with some exciting news and projects this end of year! Starting with the one in today’s letter:

I’m excited to announce that I’ll be leading a photography tour through the stunning French Pyrenees next May, and it would be incredible to have you join me! We launched the tour a month ago, and spots are filling up quickly, so if this sounds like your dream adventure, now is the time to book.

Imagine This:

We’ll explore one of Europe’s most breathtaking landscapes, where dramatic mountain peaks, tranquil alpine lakes, and sweeping valleys are yours to capture in the best lights and conditions. And when night falls, we’ll dive into astrophotography, shooting the Milky Way core in those alpine landscapes.

Here’s a Glimpse of What’s in Store:

• Stunning Locations: From vibrant valleys and wildflowers to glowing peaks, we’ll visit my favorite spots in the Hautes-Pyrénées, places I know are photogenic at any hour.

• Perfect Times of Day: Each day, we’ll shoot at the most beautiful times—sunrise and sunset—ensuring that you get the softest, most enchanting light for your photos.

• Star-Filled Nights: This region is renowned for its darker skies in Europe, so we’ll practice night photography techniques that will help you capture the stars like never before. We are going in the middle of a new moon to increase our chances at getting the darkest sky possible.

• Personalized Guidance: Whether you’re new to photography or advanced, I’ll be there to guide you at every step with advice on composition, lighting, and technique tailored to your level.

• In-Depth Image Reviews and Workshops: We’ll dive into editing, image reviews, and have hands-on workshops to refine your shots, exploring how to elevate them from good to outstanding.

Itinerary Highlights:

Our adventure begins on May 23, where we’ll meet in Toulouse and head into the Pyrenees. Over six days, we’ll cover everything from capturing sunrise reflections on quiet lake waters to practicing night photography techniques under skies full of stars. Our hikes are accessible and designed for enjoyment without being overly strenuous, so you can focus on the beauty around you and the creativity of your shots.

Throughout the journey, I’ll be available to answer questions, provide feedback, and offer one-on-one support. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with other passionate photographers in a friendly, immersive environment.
